Does Water Fountains work without an internet connection?
It needs mobile data or wifi to load the map and search for fountains the first time in an area. Once loaded, you can check the list and distances without downloading again.
Is the app free?
Yes, it's completely free. It's supported by in-app ads.
Can I add a fountain that isn't on the map?
Yes. Anyone can add a new fountain directly from the app so it becomes available to the rest of the community.
Does it only find urban fountains, or also natural springs?
It includes both urban drinking fountains and nearby natural springs, useful for hiking routes far from the city.
